So much has happened since my last post. I finished my last semester and graduated from LSU. I still can't say that out loud bc it hurts my soul, genuinely. Can I not be in college forever?

I moved to New Orleans. I love it here. I have two jobs; one as a bartender and the other as a medical assistant at an urgent care. Doesn't that seem rather counteractive? Yes. I know. I live two separate lives. I'm working about 50 hour weeks and hoping to have that lovely trip

that is so well documented on this site paid off by the new year. Guess who is on schedule to do just that? THIS GIRL.

I have a great apartment, roommate, and coworker(s) **WADDUP SARAH**. One negative would be that constantly draining gutter right outside my bedroom window which I (so lovingly) refer to as my 'ghetto water feature'. The other negative would be parking my sweet baby TYF on the street. I am, however, right by the streetcars, downtown, and like 27 coffee shops so you won't see me complaining.

I've decided to transition this blog from brookie-on-the-barbie to a more general --- my life now --- blog. I hope I keep up with it and am able to share about my future schooling and daily hilarity that undoubtedly occurs on a more-frequent-than-not basis.
