So on blog post numero 2 I told y'all I'd work on my hand signal. How do ya like them apples?

Look mom, I'm a gnarly kneeboarder

YOU GUYS I DID IT. I had to call the school multiple times and use my "mom voice" but they finally processed my OHSC and sent me my ECOE code. Y'all probably have no idea what those acronyms stand for and I really do WISH I could say the same.

Side note: You know how when you have a baby and are going through kid names and then realize all the people that pissed you off at some point? Yeah, my kid will never be named Hilary bc of this process. Miss. Never-answer-emails-but-claim-you-are-on-top-of-things-lady.

The best looking header I've ever seen in my inbox ^^^

I find it funny that nobody over there can understand me. Through these phone calls alone I have discovered that, even though we both speak english, there will be a language barrier. I have to fight the urge to giggle every time I hear them talk. I think it is because I don't believe that that is actually how they talk...which is absurd. I need to accept that. I've had to spell out multiple words by their common attributes (D as in dog, E as in egg, R as in rodent) and repeat myself a thousand times to get something across. Stay tuned for further Southern Vs. Aussie conversations. I am sure they will be a hoot!

Freakishly excited to get a stuffed koala

So now that I have my VISA approved and can enter the country, let's buy a plane ticket! I've always said it wouldn't feel real until I had that ticket. $1,500 later and it feels really really real. I am so excited that when people now ask me when I leave for Aussie that I will have something to say back!

My wonderful brother who was recovering from surgery ON HIS BIRTHDAY helped me pick this winner of a flight. I love him so much. Lord give me a window seat.

Notice that I leave Houston on the 13th and I don't get into Sydney until the 15th. I can't even sit still through a movie half the time. Does netflix work on flights? You can pay for wifi, right? Serious question y'all someone has to know this answer **travel noob over here**.

I wonder what type of a flyer I will be. Either A) that girl that rounds all the kids from the flight and sets up hop scotch down the aisles or B) takes a benadryl and orders some wine. I guess I'll let y'all know how that turns out.

I got a countdown app after I bought my plane ticket. Last day in double digits, yo.

Everything seems to finally be falling into place.:)

Found this picture on Pinterest and it resonated with me.

Although I still have little to no clue of what I am doing or how everything will work out, I know that it will. Here is one of my favorite quotes. "Hope is hearing the melody of the future and Faith is dancing to it today." Faith is a big thing to me and I really love dancing so this has been a mantra of mine for quite some time. For example, I have faith that I can maneuver an airport on my own. I have faith that I will get on the correct flight. I have faith that I can sit somewhere for 15 hours and still keep my sanity. I have faith that I can go without PJ's coffee for 6 months. I have faith that I will get regular updates of my puppy and my god-puppy. **cough, cough, mom, cough, cough, sarah**

More than anything, I have faith that this will enrich my life in an amazing and life-changing way. I cannot wait for it to begin.

Gratitude Station: I am soooo thankful for the people who have donated to my GoFundMe page. I am amazed of how kind y'all are. My most recent donors are family friends that are the reason I ended up signing up for this trip of a lifetime. I can't thank you enough. <3
